PC Does this challenge restart from the beginning?

Just got typically bum-rushed in an infested quest.  I notice the timer doesn't go up anymore.

Does this thing actually restart from zero again?

If so, seriously wtf?

Yes.  It is a challenge.  You get the reward once you've stayed alive that long in a game.  I think it's a good challenge considering most others will basically complete automatically just by doing what you are going to do anyhow.
