Hello,

https://pastebin.com/xp95EDTi - Log

https://pastebin.com/q0QN3hpG - Speccy

I'm trying to play this game again after a year or 2. But somehow i can't get even 1 FPS in-game when settings are on low (or lower than low)

The only thing i changed in the system is a new GPU and change to NVME (from 2070 to 3080). Removed everyting i can find (also in %appdata%) and reinstalled it on another SSD.

Tried the latest beta 21.

Got 356.1 hours in this game. Never had this problem before.

Tried this ->

Search on Google for "7 days to die not using GPU"

---

Game uses only CPU on low settings. GPU is sitting idle (1-5% use with YouTube on pause)

I can't get in-game if the settings are higher than low. Changed the settings to medium in-game and after that i can't do anything.

Can someone help me out pls.

King regards.

Yeah, it's not using a GPU at all.

From your log...
"Renderer: Microsoft Basic Render Driver (ID=0x8c)"

Some of the characters are messed up in your Speccy report, because you didn't just publish it. I don't see anything wrong offhand other than an older GPU driver.

Download and install the latest driver from here.

GeForce Game Ready Driver | 536.40 | Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 | NVIDIA

Be certain to choose the option to not install the GeForce Experience bloatware (unless you really really want it I guess), and under advanced options, choose "Perform a clean installation".

Also, you need to ensure that your system is set to use the discrete GPU by default, and not the setup on the motherboard. (You don't have a driver installed for it at all that I can tell. Should have been included with the drivers for the MB. Not having a driver for it to be detected properly could also contribute to your issue.)

Also note that your motherboard has the "Killer" network components. Do note that the bloatware software they load for those will tank your network performance for most things. I don't see it loaded and running, but a fair warning in case you ever want to install it.

My husband got the exact same thing today while we were playing together, he was a host. I didn't experience this FPS problem while he did. He followed the recomendations above but had no luck with our old save (btw we began it in A21b313 - may be this is the root cause...). Then he created a new game - an FPS was nice even with ultra high video settings.
