I just bought the game, and the menu shutter/click sound is driving me mad. I don't know why but to me each click is like nails on a chalkboard. I checked the menu and I can only change music volume but not sfx. Is there a way to remove/disable/delete that sound? I've already tried going to Data\Config\sounds.xml and removing everything from the UI section and saving, but that didn't work. Maybe that isn't the right file? Also, before I realized you could modify the xmls, I downloaded the SMX mods. To clarify, the annoying menu sound existed before downloading any mods. I am just wondering if maybe SMX's mods overwrite the sound xml and I need to edit something else.
I am also read something about being able to open the unity assets and remove stuff. Would that work for sounds? Where can I read how to do that if so?
