It's been sitting on Guppy's building server for a while and I finally got myself to go thru Jackelmyer's introduction/tutorial to create a finished product. So here it is, my


DESOLATE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

Short description: A nuclear power plant that was held for a short time by the military after the zombie virus outbreak. The soldiers didn't do too well..






Meant to be either standalone or part of industrial sectors of cities. Looks best in Wasteland biomes. Add to the appropriate parts of the rgwmixer.xml.

(I got it spawned into a rwg world just fine, but due to it's size some additional adjustments might be needed.)

Man this is great, wish it was in base game. TFP should hold some monthly contests for player made prefabs and we all vote on them to be added to the base game. Of course theyd have the right to veto builds if it didnt fit the theme.

 
The destruction look appropriate. Personally, i like the picture with broken big pipe(chimney) in the wastelands fog.

Oh, you'll want to use an image host for pictures btw... you have a limited number of attachments on the forum, they're a female dog to delete, new people can't see them, and all in all use something like imgur.com or postimage.org

 
I am using imgur. I left a link to an album in the spoiler. For some reason when I used their provided direct links for the
spacer.png
-tags it got displayed in full resolution and therefore cut off by the forum page..

Anyway, off to vote for a hopefully better government in my cun.t-ry now. I'll pop on your server later, started a lil residential type project there this time :)

 
Nice to see that the players on Guppy's server are still productive.

Very neat prefab btw. I particularly like the idea with the radiated earth.

to parts like downtown. Industrial. Residential. Rural. Wilderness etc. Depends what the prefab is and where you believe it will fit in your world.

Still one of my fav prefabs - it would be awesome to see a coal power plants with long conveyor belts,excavators and so on ^^

 
Kinda curious whether this has been used by anyone in the meanwhile.

Also I finally managed to get back to working on some prefabs. Another one of similar scale coming up soon!
