They sound like a dust storm and you expect a dust storm yet it's raining cats and dogs. Thats very strange and I get weirded out every time I encounter one. They're no fun.
The storm in the forest biome doesn't have that dust storm wind with it. It's annoying as hell. Several times it has started raining while I was on my way to a mission and I decided go work on my base instead.
