Anymore whenever I enter a new biome I slow down and very cautiously enter because there might be a storm going on. Drove into one in the forest biome and was able to immediately turn around and leave before I got hurt. Then I noticed that a checkpoint was about 50 yards for me inside the snow so I decided to go ahead and try it.
Left my mini bike in the forest biome and ran to the first tent at the checkpoint. Got there with half my hit points, lol. I have plenty of painkillers but nothing to drink so I wasn't too worried. And then it was clean out that tent as quickly as possible, find the safe place and recover. Then run on the next.
That little trailer in the middle was no help at all with the storm. I think that's a bug.
Then when I got the final tent I had to maneuver around and was taking damage from the storm and damage from the disease and my SMG was glowing red. Or would have if it could glow red. By the time I had everything looted, the storm ended. I forget where I was, somewhat less than half hit points.
