DARKNESS FALLS MOD STUCK AT INITIALIZING WORLD

So I have this problem with the MOD Darkness Falls. Every time I want to play, I have no choice but to reinstall the MOD. Pre-syncing the MOD doesn't work. But if I do a complete re-installation, it runs. This is a bit problematic and a waste of time sometimes. I was wondering if anyone experienced such a thing too and have found some fix or workaround.

if you join the Darkness Falls discord he has links to the client files needed for the latest version. I've never used the mod launcher and just manually install. If you can extract a zipped folder and move files you should be fine. The game if done correctly will launch darkness falls just by launching through steam, no 3rd party launcher needed.
