I've got a feeling that I know the answer. But after the tiny patch/update to the console and the game being added to Game Pass, a buddy of mine is trying out the game, and we were wondering if it could crossplay between consoles, since PS has the old version as well. I also noticed you can create a TTG account, but that was probably there the whole time and I ignored it.
I've seen a decent amount of articles saying there's no crossplay, but they are all months/years old. I've also seen a couple saying it IS possible between consoles but not on the PC.
Just looking for a definitive answer. And if it is now crossplay, how to actually invite someone. This is one of the reasons I think these articles saying consoles can play together aren't being truthful - there doesn't seem to be a way of inviting people on different consoles. The "invite players" in the start menu just brings up the Xbox Live friends list.
