PC Crossplatform?

Hello,

I am wondering if the crossplatform gameplay is actually working now? I tried the steam version and started a multiplayer game myself and I tried to join this game on my Xbox X (game also V1.0) but I cannot find the world I created on steam. Even when I try this on the Xbox companion pc app (I also not have an invite friend option than)? 

 
It works, it's just not implemented yet. The roadmap has it tentatively scheduled to go live Q4 of this year, but they've been hinting "sooner than we think" recently on Twitter.
