I could just say it's a game and you can't expect times to make sense, but yeah... times don't make sense and there's not any reason for it that I know about. I'd assume armor is because they were showing it off and wanted everyone to get armor easily. We've seen armor become less easy to get now that they are done showing it off, so maybe they'll also increase crafting times at some point. I'm not sure why weapons can be so long, though. 5 minutes would make sense to me... maybe 7-8 for a Q6 Steel weapon. But at the same time, I just start things crafting and go do other things, including sometimes just going out questing or scavenging and just grab what was crafted the next time I return to my base, so I don't really pay attention to the times. I also couldn't say how long a vehicle takes without perks (or with perks, for that matter). I am not the one who makes vehicles in my 2 player games and I rarely play solo anymore.
