PC Crafted furniture is it usable for storage?

I could craft one and find out, but really would just like to know before I fire up the game again.  

Or is it only chests and boxes?

Okay, ASSuming this is up to date, looks like I can get some storage items done that dont look like crates.

We can craft usable* cabinets, cupboards, a nightstand and a bookcase (the bookcase that shows books on the front). They all have limited storage space compared to storage boxes though. The wine barrels offer the same amount of storage as boxes, and look quite nice actually.

* some variants are cosmetic only.

You can of course, mod the craftable cabinets etc, to have more storage.

(there might already be such a mod)

Once A21 drops, I know I'll be going through all that (again), and increasing the storage.

(already use a mod for the storage boxes/vehicles)
