This modlet allows you to craft solar banks and solar cells.

The files can be download from https://github.com/SnappyYoungGuns/SnappysModlets

Simply copy and paste the Data and Mods folders to your 7 Days to Die Folder.

This is my first attempt at creating a modlet and posting on this forum so please be gentle with me :smile-new:

This is a really nice idea...love it!!! Is is possible that you can post the changes/added lines for the Localization.txt file? I will add this via an tool https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?97918-Localization-txt-(and-quest)-Appender-batch-file since I have other mods which uses changes to the Localization.txt file.

I'm glad you like the mod. I'm not sure how to link to the the line in the the localization file but the line you need to edit is the following:

perkYeahScienceRank5Desc,progression,Perk,New,"You can craft battery banks, solar banks and solar cells. Can use tier 5 schematics.",,,,,

The original line read like this:

perkYeahScienceRank5Desc,progression,Perk,New,You can craft battery banks. Can use tier 5 schematics.,,,,,

I have just corrected a typo in the progression.xml which was throwing a small error.

Snappy, I love this mod A LOT! Regarding the Tier 5 perk info not showing up correctly, I got your back and fixed it. We're in the same boat, learning to make mods. So you know how to mod the "Localization.txt", what I did is opened the "Localization.txt" and found the description for the Tier 5 perk then made the following modifications: perkYeahScienceRank5Desc,progression,Perk,New,You can craft battery banks\n,solar banks and solar cells. Can use tier 5 schematics.,,,,, When you compare this to the original you will see I added the info without spaces starting with "\n" then removed the quotes around that entry. Update includes adding a 2 minute craft time to the items, I've tested this and it runs flawlessly on my pc.

First I think this is a great idea and has been needed for the game. I've installed your mod but cant seem to get anything to craft, I have "Yeah Science 5 and Advanced Engineering 5, but still no crafting option at the workbench. I also have the Battery Banks, Solar Banks and Solar Cells listed in my lvl 5 Yeah Science skill list. Any help would be great!

fyi: this is being run on a dedicated server, and the mod is install in the proper location.

not working for me you guys made 2 mods dont realise which one is good if i copy Mods and Data into my 7days to die folder i already have a Mods folder so any advice??
