day after day there is a lack of response to console general support questions.
PC Console section...who is supposed to support it?

I dunno, man. I dropped down here to see if I might be able to answer some support questions, but I only know the PC and I can't tell from the descriptions if the problems are similar to what I've seen. I don't even know if the same diagnostic tools are around.
For instance, I would hit F1 to see the console. Is there anything like that on the consoles?
I might want to see log files. Is there anything like that on the consoles?

Man, I am too @%$#ing tired to even want to guess if you are being a tiny bit sarcastic, if you are implying that I should be doing the helping, I do what I can, but, anything technical I can't help, anything to do with bugs...I would be less than useful. Someone from the staff should be checking daily.

Yes, we have that option in the pause menu. Problem is it will resume the game so no time to read it since every new event will add a line, making it scroll. I have no idea if we could export it to have a serious look at it but I'm told it will be included when you create a bug report in the pause menu.

I'm not trying to imply you should be doing the helping. I was just saying I wondered if I could answer some questions, read some of the problems, and concluded I didn't know enough about consoles to be certain I could be of assistance. Then I asked some questions about what the console could do.
For instance, people are reporting falling through the Earth. I've not seen that on PC, except on a server with performance issues. I don't have a fix.
So it doesn't let you scroll back through the console?
On the PC, I would have to pause the game and then look to the console, otherwise the console would continue to be active and new events would show up.
Can you copy/paste from the console or get to log files?

No Sony and Microsoft initially did not want them to have any access to the console at all. Currently they have access to a couple of basic things and a "report bug" button that works similar to how the screenshot report tool does with PC where it gives them the option to put a description in. Then it shoots the screenshot with relevant world/location data and the log off to TFP's internal ticket system.
TFP has been trying to get the console ability expanded for Console users, but Sony and MS have been extremely resistant.

It does but every new event makes it scroll back to new line. It is too jumpy to read a line that way, only actual events are kind of readable.

Oh, bummer. On one side problems need to be diagnosed. On the other side, diagnostics aren't able to be exposed. That's rough.
