Clay Soil is missing its recipe to make Clay!

Hey guys i just noticed that Clay soil is missing its recipe for making clay! Forged Iron needs it to make it.

Maybe i am looking at it wrong here but currently you can't make clay out of clay soil! even if you search for it in creative mode, it doesn't exist... Maybe a small fix is in order here????

Yes but if you look up upon the recipe's or whatever is needed, you can't make clay from claysoil!!! Some items need clay to make it. If you search on Clay, you can't find anything related to it, to be possible to make it... Claysoil itself also doesn't have a recipe to make clay itself...!

ok. so what am i missing to the point here? If i want to make forged iron, it asks i need clay, not claysoil! I got plenty of claysoil, but still i can't make it because it asks for clay and not claysoil! ... i have searched for claysoil and clay. none of them give recipe's out to make them... Sorry if i am being stupid here, but in my opinion this doesn't make any sense... I am just telling here that there might be something wrong about it... I want to know if i am right or wrong... maybe i have overlooked something here... i dunno! ...

You put clay soil into forge. Forge turns it into clay....

Really? Hmmm have to check that out... thanks for noticing me...!

*edit* well i have just checked it out and it doesn't seem to work! There are items asking for clay... but nothing i mean, nothing seems to work! There is no such recipe that gives clay! Not the forge, not in creative or such thing! It seems to me that the item "clay" doesn't exist... Or don't i have the necessary skill to make it of some sort???

Maybe, just in my opinion, The items "Clay" needs its own recipe to make... Maybe some items that are asking for clay, should be adjusted to claysoil instead... To simplify things ofcourse...

No you have to put clay soil into forge. Once it converts it you must use the forge to craft it. Make sure you have enough resources converted in the forge.

Similar to when you put in iron ore. It coverts it to iron. Or you put in small stone and it converts to stone.
