PC changing map size

Is there a way to force the game to generate a 16x16 or greater map? We want to see what happens if we generate one (maybe play on it for a bit if it works) but cant find info on how to get the game to make one for a17 x.x what files do we have to edit?

 
Currently its limited to 8k x 8k without a dedicated server. Its possible to do it on a dedi but things have to be 'just right' as I tried it on the first day and couldn't get it to work...

If the person generating the game allows others to play, then you can join but as noted - anything above 8k is on a dedi.
