Cant join friends because of a package?

So my friends and i have recently decided to play the new A21.1 update but we arent able to join one another and each of us are getting this code in the console "WRN Failed writing first package: NetPackagePlayerDisconnect of size 50. 1 remaining packages in queue." anyone have i idea on how to fix this so we can play together?

Try using the Network Workaround option found in the Options/General tab.

I am also having this issue. The Network Workaround option did not work for me or my friend.

Anyone found a fix for this yet? I’m having the same issue with my friend. We don’t know if it’s a corrupted save file, firewall issue or what.
