Cannot get "Cause he's the Ax Man" achievement

I've 50 or so hours on PC and every update I attempt to get this achievement again. It's laughable how many times I've started a new game, punched a tree until I have 2 wood, picked up 10 plant fiber and collected 2 rocks to make the Stone Ax. I'm a pro at it now. Help? Idk...

Many of the achievements are currently broken, and have been since a17/18. Once the game is closer to the polish phase they will likely be revisited.

Also, If you use debug mode or have creative mode on, you won't get the acheivment.

If you really, really want the achievements NOW instead of when they get around to polishing them for release, you can roll back to a15 i think and get them all, from what i have read on the steam forums.

I've 23 of the 43 achievements. Never had one issue getting any of them. Also, of course it's not in creative or debug mode.

I took katarynna's advice and rolled it back to 15.2 and got it.

I've got 26 out of 43, just bothered getting the rest, guess will rollback to A15 also... loved it back then.
