XBOX Cannot download random gen map

I have tried both ways creating a random gen and having someone join and had them create a random gen map and tried to join it will only make it to ruffly 55 percent download on the maps before it kicks whoever is trying to join this is super annoying as we’re stuck playing the one map and miss out of a lot of the new plus I’m not sure if it has something to do with the eac cheating ban kick or what but it is impossible to join a random gen map that you must download
 
Problems downloading a map are generally related to one of these:

  • No space for the map. This is especially important to note for consoles as there is limited space you can use. Check what space you have and what the map size is to get an idea if this might be related.
  • Bad network connection between you and the server. Timing out while downloading can prevent it from completely downloading. Doing a tracert between you and the server or host should identify if this is the issue.
  • Problems on the server or host. In some cases, there are issues with the server or host that make it difficult to download a map from them. Sometimes just retrying two or more times can make it finally finish downloading, but not always.
If you provide the server or host log file as well as your own log file from when this is happening, it might help to show what the cause in your instance is. You can also try another server or host to see if it works from them. If so, then it is clearly an issue with the server or host you're trying to use.
