Can You Share a Property Block with Friends?

I’m playing with friends and we decided not to build bases but to use already existing POIs, which none of us have done before. When I place my own property block, even though we are all in a group, the rest of my friends can’t build or destroy anything. Is there a way to fix this?

Not unless there is a mod for it. Your friends should have no problem building or destroying things in the land claim, though. They just can't pick up anything. If they can't, check any mods you have. I think there's a game option for land claim block damage, so check there also to see if you have that set to 0% if that's even an option. We build and destroy in each other's land claim all the time. I haven't play 2.6 EXP, so it is possible there's a bug if you're having trouble in 2.6.
