I have recently has an issue whenever I have tried to play the game, it comes up with exc nullreferenceexception object reference not set to an instance of an object as an error. This stops any loading of any games, I have tired to trouble shoot it online. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, as well as delete any files on my laptop but nothing seems to work.

There are no mods and it is a straight vanilla game, plus I have found the troubleshoots of deleting past saved games and deleting all 7DTD files.

Please help, this game is fun and I just found a mate to play with but it won't work.

Please help

From the game launcher, select "Tools" then select "Clean game data..." Check all the boxes except "savegames" and press "Clean".

Don't start the game. Close the Launcher.

After that verify your files through Steam twice and try again.
