Brass in Electronics (and other scrap)

Simple..... ikr from me?

Put brass in electronic salvage, like power boxs, cars, lights, ac units, etc

.... brass can be conductive but copper is better... we don't have copper by brass is a metal that can be made from copper.... (copper and zink)  more brass is always good! And sense dukes are going to be harder to get.... more brass is good.

Lead is also found in many things like electronic too!!! But mosty as soder, but in cars there is small parts in cars with lead (according too google I'm not a car nut) but more scrap is always good!!!

Maybe scrapable piping so you can get lead (ik pipes don't have lead anymore but too bad)

I don't really know anything about making ammunition or reloading casings. A touch of web surfing suggests...

(1) We're glossing over the ease of producing a casing from raw brass. (Which is okay with me.)

(2) Folks have used Copper, Iron, and Steel casing in the past though they have more issues than Brass. (We have Iron and Steel in the game. I could see letting folks use Iron; optionally make iron casings use up a little more durability. Maybe there's a potential Perk here somewhere.)

(3) I see there's some interest in a newer primarily plastic (but with a little bit of steel) casing. I gather the little bit of steel is just at the end.

Mods for iron and plastic casings might be nice. They'd be easy XML mods.

Related to brass, we get it from radiators though those are mostly aluminum (or aluminium for those countries that like extra letters). I like to think that's a bone TFP has thrown to use for finding brass.

Oh boy you asked

Reloading ammo is harder then you think. you need a few things.

the bullet... the casing, gun powder/propellent, and a primer. other chemicals you can add for different effects and power, while tips can be loading with more special tips Like Incendiary or a hollow point. i think!! i only loaded normal FMJs so i can't tell you how more special rounds are made

Bullet casings can be recycled very easily, shotgun shells too but they break down faster due to them being mostly made of plastic., or in 7DTD case... Paper... so no. brass shells can be used too.  hell you can reload most casings after uses unless they break but most don't. but they do need to be cleaned cuz they will gunk up the gun and have gas fluid on it

Brass and copper is used cuz its lighter and faster, metal casings can be used but are heavy and wear your gun more, Mostly if its overgassed!

Bullet tips are harder cuz A; you have to find it, B, melt it down again  cuz the tip is damaged that isn't too hard, I've seen videos of campfire doing it, and C, shape it.

IRL! Primers would be Super hard to find, i don't know how primers are made cuz i never made primers... so tbh that would limit ammo but screw it.

Well its simple, the majority of the brass we find in loot is just bullet casings people have saved lol.  Seeing bullet casings are the only thing we make in the forge, we are probably just washing them off with hot water as opposed to melting and pouring into forms lol.  and yes all the radiators are just filled with casings, people needed to store them somewhere!
