PC Bloodmoons forum

I know but sense we Don't really have a place too see everything.  I though the home of 7dtd would be nice

You know... I was just remembering.  When TellTale Games was doing the first Console release, we assumed it would be supported on their forum. They even made a section in their forum for it.  Then at some point the forum section became just a single Pinned post that said "Go to TFP's forum" and had a link here.

Imo that was kinda different, cuz it was going to be the same game, key word was.

But blood moons Is a completely different game, but the same ip

Kinda like how ark did there forum, aside from being crappy lol.

But all of ark is in one forum. Ase, asa and ark 2.

I Don't see why this would be any different in the future

Yeah, Telltale was still just doing a port of the game that was being developed by TFP.  Bloodmoons may have some minor support from TFP, but it's an entirely different game that is being developed by another studio even if it's the same IP.  If they do not make their own forum for it, then that would be a pretty poor indication of the kind of studio they are, so I am sure they'll have their own forum.  Probably only once it is early access.

But it doesn't look like a different game. All of the assets and animations are basically the same as they are here. The only difference is the filters. It
resembles more of a colorized Haidrgna mod. For anyone that has not played, it will look like something new, but not if you have played or viewed

streams of any recent alphas.

The only thing that isn't straight from here is the gamemaster's running animation. It needs a noticeable hook or individualization to make it it's own

entity. I could be wrong and sometimes I admittedly am. Personally I hope it does succeed, because with all of the base similarities it's banking mostly

on name association, and their resulting reputation be it positive or negative, will be laid at TFP's and the forum's doorstep.  This was shown by what

happened with TellTale, and is still being referred to today in the forum.

I say this because people go by what they see, It starts off like the 7 Days to Die splash screen,  first is that the larger Funpimp animated logo holds your

focus. On the other hand as a producer if the business model of The Asylum production company is followed it could help TFP expand. Since it's still

pre-release, maybe they have some surprises they have not shown yet. Either way it will bea an interesting ride. Go Canada.

I would guess that a lot of it will change over time.  Just like with this game, most early stuff they are showing are most likely placeholders that will eventually be replaced with their own stuff.  I'm sure they'll keep a lot of the zombies looking similar to those in this game since it's the same IP, but weapons can be changed and the overall look of other things can also be changed as well, while still staying within the IP.  Give it a few years and it may look much more different from what they are showing now.  Though it will still be at least similar to this game in certain ways because of the IP.
