PC Block Explosion resistance?

Trying to figure out how to protect delicate electric switches, relays and electric fences from the demolisher and cop spit.  The switches and relays have 100 hit points.

Do any blocks have explosive resistance?

If you are using electric fences how are you protecting them?

We make sure to put all the delicate stuff behind reinforced concrete walls at a minimum.  That way they are protected from cops and demolishers as best as possible.  Switches that need to readily available we try to put inside a box with a steel hatch as a door.  That way we have to open the hatch to get to the switch and the hatch will provide protection so they don't get destroyed so easily.

Steel blocks with a couple of blocks distance will usually protect them. Electric fence posts take damage when used. I believe it's the last connected post that takes damage. If you are expecting demolishers to explode frequently I would use 2-3 deep steel blocks to protect the posts and other equipment. My last build was a two block wide corridor and 1 steel block was sufficient to protect the fence posts which were adjacent but one block down from the corridor steel block. However, Demolishers rarely exploded in the corridor.

Use the max connections from your protected switches too, rather than chaining electrical items to each other. You don't want Dart Trap #1 to get taken out which then disables all of the traps down the line.

And don't let your dumbass co-op partner shoot the motion sensor on horde night.

We use steel blocks and steel plates on the outside to save space. Even 2 blocks of steel don´t protect the fence fully. But it lives trough the night. Not sure if it´s from the demos or from cop spit tough.
