PC Biome temperatures pountless now?

So far I love the 1.0 update and the added challenge but 1 thing I noticed is temperature really doesn't mean much now (at least in the snow area) before you'd need to wear the proper atier or drink and eat certain foods and perk to help curb the cold/heat but why would I do that now when 3 pieces of primitive light Armour fully shield me from the cold? I kinda feels like it's lost a bit of the survival aspect of living in a cold area, as I said not sure about the desert haven't really spent much time there but in heavy Armour I had no issues with heat

Yeah, it's temporarily "disabled" (each armor piece adds 20 hot and cold resistance, I believe), probably because you don't have many mod slots available anymore where you might place a mod to change hot and cold resistance and the clothes that helped with that are also gone.  The weather and environmental update should add temperature resistance needs back.

Thats a shame I hope it comes back when the weather system updates it was a fun aspect getting too cold or too hot depending on where you are, what your wearing and you wet levels

Maybe they should just add different slots for different mods, like they do now for color and function.  Function could be split so you have an "insulation" slot and a "general" slot.  If done right, modders could get busy making all kinds of nice additions to clothing.

Personally, I'd like to see one insulation slot, one pocket slot, and one or more general slots depending on the quality of the item (maybe even allowing the insulation and pocket mods to fit into general slots, too).

Actually, I learned by dying that if you run around naked, you do feel the cold. Then I picked up my backpack with the clothing and I was fine.

It is the armor that adds the resistance for the time being.  20 per item.  But unless they changed something, being cold shouldn't kill you.  I never bothered with trying to be warm or cool in biomes in A20/A21 and just wore whatever looked good because it just really didn't matter if it said you were hot or cold.  Not in any way that was important, anyhow.
