PC Best $9.99 I ever spent, but...

Came back after my displeasure with a18, to see it has all been compounded and made worse. Nerd poling up frames has never been more difficult, and it shouldn't be. The stamina issue is a joke, that alone almost makes the game unplayable. The removal of running while strafing and backwards makes no sense. Why can two keys not be bound to an action? I ran a server for 3 years, stopped at a16 because of the bugs and server crashes on bluefang, came back just to play and feel like the fun has been stripped out of the game, 7dtd has been turned in to a grind fest. I love the new prefabs and all the work you have done, but this game is NOT the same game I started played in alpha 9, maybe madmole needs to fire up an old alpha to be reminded of what this game used to be, and that was loads of fun.  Now it seems more like a gimmicky gotcha with crippled movement, zombies spawning out of nowhere and measured nerfs. Also why change the ores? It was perfect the way they way were spread across the biomes, who else misses the plains? This ain't a gripe, and I ain't announcing my departure, just saying this game isn't fun like it used to be and hasn't been in a while. 🤢 I have 5 or 6 copies of 7dtd and have THOROUGHLY gotten my monies worth out of it, more so than any other game I have ever played. I think I will go back to a10.4, go 20k out, plant 5000 corn and feed my alcohol habit. Till next alpha wastelanders!

I, on the other hand was happy enough, with the game as it is, to spend 23 eur for getting a second licence for the steam account running in the machine I'm hosting my server. Did not need to, as you can run server without a license. But they deserve it as I certainly have got my moneys worth entertainment out of it.

Please show us a vid that you can run backwards at the same speed as forward. Z´s spawning out of thin air is usually a problem on the user side, try the support section of the forum  @hillbilly

In some POI the zombies really spawn out of thin air. Because surprise! It's easy to notice when you're doing... creative exploration and come to certain places from another angle. And at full speed.

Exactly. Really not easy to avoid. In each volume a number of zombies want to spawn and if they don't have a chance to spawn while you are around an edge, they might just spawn after you entered a room and turned away.

That was really happening too often when sleepers were introduced into the game, but now is happening much less (it seems to me at least). Often though players would misinterpret zombies falling from hidden locations under the ceiling as spawing in their back too. Often when I am surprised from behind I can later see the place from where they came. And in rare cases not.
