PC B149 and farm plots

The patch notes for b149 includes the following under Changed:

"Player crafted farm plots can be dug up and relocated"

They always could be previous to this build, so does this mean they can no longer be moved? I don't get it. What has changed?

Are you certain of this? I have not tried farming plots yet but I saw many complaints that people had no way to move them if they moved bases and the response was it was changed this patch.

Initially you could shovel the farm plots.

They noticed that some POI designers used them in their POI construction... which is bad because it meant free and easy farm plots.

They disabled the shovel on them.

People complained.

They made a second Farm Plot block for this build, which is the one the player crafts, and enabled the shovel on it.

So "Harvesting farm plots was a bit too easy." only means that the POI ones can no longer be looted?

Right, There are now two farm plots. One for POI use than cannot be shoveled and one for players to craft that can be shoveled.
