Atari is putting out a new console that will play Steam games as well as the old school Atari games.

This may be a great alternative to the console peeps who doesn't want to dump a lot of money in a comp rig but still wants to play the PC version.

Interesting. I got a thing that has like 8,000 to 12,000 from Atari to ps1 games on it. Just a simple little console that is built with linux software that put a 120GB SD card in it that reads the games and has snes controller, nes64 controller and ps3 controller with a few other controllers that can hook up to it and play all kinds of games.

But this seems pretty cool.

The only way it could run 7 Days is through streaming the game though. The only way it's going to run most Steam games is via a streaming service in fact.

Some basic hardware specs for it.

The processor is a Bristol Ridge A10 with a Radeon R7 GPU

It has merely 4GB of DDR4 with 32GB eMMC for storage. So basically half the RAM of the PS4 and XB1, and a 32GB SD card for a hard drive.

Aside from that, it's got Wifi AC, Bluetooth, and USB 3.0.

It's like a Raspberry Pi with a nice CPU.

Sounds like it might be able to run from the 32-bit launcher.
Not with the minimum requirement being 6GB. Might be able to get a14 or earlier to run, though you'll need a lot more storage.

It's going to bomb hardtime. Its pretty much completely worthless. It's a small form factor PC running a Linux OS. Not simple enough for console users, and not flexible enough for PC users with specs that are too low end to play the majority of stuff today and it relies heavy on 3rd party software.

It's basically a stronger Ouya.
