Hello, I am looking for help on how to get 7 Days to Die to accept different terrain textures.
This is the error I get with everything I've tried: "The AssetBundle 'TerrainTextures' can't be loaded because it was not built with the right version or build target."
I don't know what conditions needs to be satisfied for the asset bundle to be accepted by the game without error.
I'm trying to backport Alpha 18 textures to Apha 17. My first effort was to simply replace the terraintextures bundle and terraintextures.manifest from Alpha 17 with the ones from Alpha 18. Error. I tried using the old manifest to see if it would just ignore the extra textures, but it still errored. I tried using the Asset Bundle Extractor to delete the extra textures and files in the bundle; I thought maybe if the file structure matched, it would work. It still errored.
Please don't let the Alpha 17 be a distraction. I provided it for context, but the main question here is "How do I make an acceptable asset bundle?"
