I like the idea of mobility impact of the armor and i'm not sure if this is in the plans. But I think it should have a tiered system so that way the lower armor types have less of a mobility impact and the stronger armor types have more of an impact. So the player can choose speed vs armor. Also it will make lower armor types more viable in later game stages vs just getting to steel and calling it a day.
