Hmm, not sure if this is a bug or it's working as intended. I was ganked by one of the rugrat crawlers while chopping a tree and he sprained my leg. I made a splint and applied it but the sprained debuff remained and did not change status to splinted. I did apply the splint from the context menu in my backpack. Next time I get a sprain, I will try again both from the backpack as last time, and from the toolbar. Until then, maybe someone will beat me to it and they can update this thread.
