PC Archery: does it buff crossbows?

The Archery skills says "master bows and crossbows", but none of the actual perks mention crossbows. Anyone know if these perks affect crossbows, or are there simply no crossbow perks in A18?

I use one on my Agi build character and it seems pretty powerful. I get nearly a 100% KD every shot that connects center mass (this is with compound xbow perked at 3) and typically kill standard zeds 2-3 same shots.

I do kinda feel there's more oomph to Pistol though with the same level of perk investiture. I'm curious to play around with ammo types and do a full comparison.

all Archery buffs affect crossbows, its just useless to write it in every description when the archery tree states it at the top, as you said (The Archery skills says "master bows and crossbows")

The crossbows are all tagged perkArchery in Data/items.xml, and Data/progression.xml shows the effects applying to "HoldingItemHasTags" "perkArchery".

But you can't sneak through a POI and stealth-headshot all the zombies with a pistol!
