PC Anyway To Not Friendly Fire Drones...?

I took a friend for his first sojourn through a Tier 6 Infestation. He'd only bought the game a few days ago; I brought him into my world, gave him equipment and XP, and we went into the hospital. I had my drone with me. Everytime we got into a firefight with the zombies my drone went down 'cos it kept wandering into his aim. I nearly used up every single repair kit we BOTH had fixing it. Is there any setting to prevent this...?

Does your world have friendly fire turned on? You might turn it off if so. Otherwise I'd recommend you both space yourselves more, as your drone should be staying behind you most of the time.
