Anyone else getting pauses when opening things?

Is anyone else getting pauses when opening things?

It seems to be happening all the time with Alpha 18. Press the E button to open pretty much anything, both pre-existing in the world and things I've crafted and there's a definite pause before it opens.

Grand Spartan even commented on it on one of his streams the other night.

Any ideas what's causing it and how to avoid it?

i'm gettiing the same, it lags even when im crafting, its getting really annoying, hope they sort it out.

Yeah just coming into state I'm getting a lot of lag when I open my inventory and try to move things around.

I get it horrible in forges, especially when pumping out something quickly, like bullet tips. It's a stutter usually saved for the big mods like WotW that often have hiccups like that. Never had it on Vanilla before.

Quick fix for this sort of inventory lag, be sure to clear out your current crafting recipie. If you need to click the favorites tab and then click some other formula to craft. When the window in the middle shows nothing (or server info) you shouldn't get that lag.
