I've invested in the perks that should allow me to use level two mod schematics, but whenever I check the recipe in the workbench (I have the schematic and required materials), it shows that I haven't learned it.

Is it the same as with the table saw recipe (I added that one in progressions.xml after someone on here explained how), or is it not working at all? Is there any way to find out the xml names for items such as these, so I can correct this without asking every time? :)

Hover over one of the buttons, I forget which, and it'll tell you what level you need to be. Or something.

But you need that science perk to craft tier 1 mods.

I bought two levels of the "Yeah, science!" perk. Description says it should allow me to use tier 2 schematics. Coincidentally, the first level should allow me to craft the chemistry station, but that also keeps telling me I don't have the required perk.

Guess I'm diving into the progressions.xml. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out which recipe names to add.. if anyone knows, let me know!

Some of them are bugged. The workbench, table saw, chem station and many of the mod schematics like scope. You unlock them but the game never allows you to make them. The xmls are missing some important lines. Hope they fix it, its a pain to go through.

I tried testing with console commands and all the mods unlocked after getting level 5 science. Pretty sure that's a bug.

Steam forums has a post showing the text you need to add to an xml file to make it possible to craft mods.
Linking the post would have been very helpful.
