Another Stuck on Building environment thread

So I can see there's alot of posts regarding this issue dating back years but no real answers or solutions. 

I've just had my second game save screw up on me. Stuck on the dreaded Building environment screen. That's now well over 300 hours of work lost over the 2 saves. What makes this worse is the total lack of response or action by Fun pimps. It's like they just don't care. They have taken our money and given us a broken product in return. I get that the game is still pre release but why no response, action or even acknowledgement of the problem?

It's ridiculous that we are ignored we are the ones buying and playing the game. 

The last time this happened I tried every fix I could find all seemed to work once then stopped working. Eventually I ran out of things to try so gave up and started a new game. Now so close to completing all the challenges I lose another save. I can keep putting time into a game that's broken and that the developers refuse to fix.

Sorry to learn you’re having this issue. I found a fix which a user on Xbox Series X reports worked for them.

I created another world to log in it and I spawned then I relogged in the first world and fixed the issue

@Jugginator does QA know anything more about this issue?

Yeah try what Crater posted. We aren't ignoring it and refusing to fix it, it's been a work in progress fix for months now . If you would like some explanation without getting too technical, both consoles have very small file size requirements, and xbox also has smaller "save update" size when you break saves into chunks, and we've been working on optimizing/working around those systems to fix it up. 

A big tip for now is to try to limit how long you go before exiting to the main menu. If you're just hanging out in your base no worries, but once you do a bunch of building or exploring new areas, give the game a restart. And always wait for the "Don't turn off you game" screen on exiting to go away and please avoid force closing it during this phase.
