When the Anisotropic Filtering will be fixed? the far game textures looks awful, all blurry beyond 1 meter... that setting must consume 1-2fps at much like on ALL games, not 40fps... please fix this, the update of today do nothing related to this... Thanks.

Some form of statement on the matter from a Dev would be appreciated.

I get the feeling the cause has still not been found (most statements are with respect to VRAM), and right now it's running worse without AF than A17 was running *with* AF.

Which begs the question of how much will optimizing the AF implementation in this game actually improve things...

Yep, before this i never tweaked the af setting, on any game, always on x16 because is simply free visual quality, no performance impact, but now there must be some serious bug to cause this haha, a big serious one xD

Console setting gfx af 0 or disable af totally from video card control panels help. But i think this issue is little bit deeper than 7 days to die.

Because i experience same stuttering and drops of FPS in Kerbal space program, so i forced AF OFF to that game too, huge improvement to game smoothness.

Both of these game are made with unity game engine.

Mmmm no, i not, I do not intend to make all my games look like a cancer just for this game, They have to fix the error AS IT HAS TO BE and voila.

And yes ... I am aware of that console command I already mentioned ... but that's why I complain, when you deactivate the AF the game looks LIKE THE ASS

I have my AF set to 4x on a gtx 960 set at 1600x900 I think. steady 50-60 fps unless in snow biom. I also have the nvidia control panel overide the game settings for af.
