Windows Animal Tracker 2 not working in pine forest, but works in the burnt region?

Hi,

Ever since I've upgraded Animal Tracker to level 2, it stopped working properly in the pine forest region, but it works well in the burnt region.
When I crouch, the countdown initiates, and even if it ends with the "green 20s", I can see no animals either on the map, the compass, or in the world.

It seems to be working fine for the burnt forest.
I've tried restarting, but no relief.
Thanks for any suggestion how to make it work again.

Update: since I've posted this bug report, it seems to be working...
that is probably the solution

I checked in version 2.5, and no tracking worked at all. I have the skill fully upgraded, but in all biomes, only Chickens and Deer are displayed.

I know when I was running into this issue, it was because I had a stat-boosting mod in my head piece. Once I removed it, the perk started working properly again.

Okay, I just verified that this is a known issue so I will be moving the thread again. The good news is that it looks like there's a fix in the works for later release. Thanks you!
