We run our own dedicated server for us and our friends and we set it to our own settings which works very well for us while learning the game again. This last update there does not seem to be an editable config file. Did it get lost perhaps in my update or has it changed locations etc or is there no longer that option as we password our server and do not currently have the ability to do this until i can find it. Please help with the locataion asap as i have 2 days off and really want to play asap.

ps .. if you could put the E back on to be able to grab plants and stuff like opening the bags that would be adventagous otherwise never mind putting potentially harvestable crops at traders as we cannot get them.

Since this isn't a bug report, I moved it to a more appropriate section.

Location of the file will depend entirely on how you set it up. Most common information is in the Sticky threads. It should be in the same location it was before unless you changed your configuration.

E is still there for bags and lot containers. It was removed for plants ect. due to the changes in harvesting. If you really want it back, there is a modlet for it in the modding section. (I cannot confirm if it works on dedicated servers though.)

 
The modlet works on Dedicated servers for Putting E back to harvest... Ran it on a Test, but Decided i would learn to use tools/fist to harvest over a few weeks.

 
im ok with it but then there is no need for crops etc inside/around traders as you cannot aquire them with the new way .. and its thru the Steam dedicated server setup. which creates a file and its not at all where it used to be up until now. i will try again to find it otherwise ill go back to the previous version until the stable version of 17 is done as i want to be able to have it be passworded only .. and i cant do that without tweaking the config file... just saying .. and thanks

found it finally .. and fixed .. will deal with the E bit .. but will make newbies frustrated as they cannot harvest at what they think is a safe zone ... tyvm .. woohooo ..runs off to play ...knows what most of my holidays will be doing :p
