Ability to Name Weapons/Vehicles/Robots for Slight Stat Buff

When a weapon or other is really working for you, you should be able to use some sort of purchaseable tag to name it and give it a slight stat buff into the deal.

We blasted our way through a Teir 6 Infestation on the Hospital with our auto-shotguns and we went a little "space marine" seeing as we (certainly, I) feel they're like bolters; once one person in a group starts slaying zombies in the name of the Emperor of Mankind it kind of becomes infectious... Anyway, give one a name like "Dead Shredder" and you get an additional stat buff BUT(!) this locks in all its attachments and it cannot be scrapped for parts or sold.

From this point on, missions done and zombie killed track with these weapons, adding to their renown. Maybe there's a temporary stacking damage/crit damage/shock/fire/fire rate/ammo boost (replenishing ammo per kill) for each critical kill made in succession.

The name tags would be SO rare and SO expensive, making sure you're not naming things left and right.

Although I could like something like this, rare in this game is a pain.  One game, those rare items are found under every stone and the next, you can't find any for 100 days.  That would frustrate players a lot for that kind of feature.

I don't think purchasing is the way to go.  After all, money is extremely easy to get.  You could make it as expensive as a Q6 solar cell and it wouldn't stop players naming every weapon they own.

If something like this was done, it should be based solely on usage.  And not something like most LBD where you can easily spam it.  No just swinging the weapon at nothing, for example.  Instead, it would require something major, like killing 250 Wights, or 25 Graces.  Of course, with dm you can spawn a bunch of any enemy, letting you complete it immediately.  But you could make it so it won't count if you or any other player used dm at any point in the current game session.  Something like that would be an interesting option, though the buff should be minor and probably only affect that enemy.
