(A21)How do I reduce Grazing Hit range?

I reduced player melee range across the board in "items", but the Glancing/Grazing Hit effect is still using the default melee ranges. Does anyone know how to fix this beyond turning it off, or accepting I send out anime shockwaves with my swings?
