A16 - Fear The Night Mod

Dianddra

Refugee
Fear The Night (with Simple UI and Magoli CompoPack) is a mod where the zombies mostly come out at night (pretty much EVERY night), and sleep in the day. Expect there to be a lot of zombies. Zombies drop coin for you to spend. Prepare your base because the zombies are going to WRECK it. Pray you survive the night!

You can still grind for resources if you want, but this mod makes it possible to skip the grind by earning money killing zombies and spending it for what you need to build your base. Players are given a special vending machine that sells resources and gear upon completion of a quest. (as of version 1.0)

NEW version 1.16 has the Magoli CompoPack, Simple UI, and better starting gear.

NOW AVAILABLE via the Mod Launcher!

Three versions: Regular, Bigger Backpack, and the new Nomad version (see below).

Alternate mod:

Fear The Night goes Nomad! No more land claim block and vending machine, now you can go anywhere and the Zombies will come at night to get you. Roam around the world on your Mini-Bike and explore Magoli's CompoPack. Take shelter at night and hope you survive the Horde. You start with a mini bike but no coins. Kill Zombies to get coin to spend at Traders. No more grinding for materials when you can buy what you need. Beware! You can get irradiated cops on day one, so FEAR THE NIGHT!

sorry I cant read the screenshot errors, the resolution is too small. all the files belong in the data/config folder. could you post your 7DaysToDie_Data/output_log.txt file?

Loads up ok on Navezgane, getting errors loading up random world
Looks like missing prefabs. Do you have the Compo-pack installed?

Modders might need to make an edit to say that compo-pack is required currently.

Hi whatdoipress; This mod does not use the Compo-Pack, this is an .xml only mod. (the first version did but was abandoned a while ago)

and rsv77, sorry about your problems, I can't tell what's going on from your post, however, to clean things up;

From your Steam Library, right click on 7 Days to Die and select "Properties". Then select the "Local Files" tab. Then click the box that says "Verify Integrity of Game files". When that is finished, download and unzip the new mod, (version .11) then drag and drop the "Config" folder into your 7 days to die/Data folder. Say yes when asked to merge. Copy and Replace all files. Good luck!

v.11 fixed the rwg problem, thanks!Great change of pace mod, get right to killing some zombies! :encouragement:

Hello, any chance we can have your mod added to the game launcher? i know sphereii is really helpful with new mods!

To add to this, you have to use GitHub as Sphereii needs a URL that never changes.

Sadly Google drive can't do that. I also recommend using the GitHub desktop app. It's SO helpful!

I think I have fixed the errors, try the latest version.

I had meant with the wording of the description, or if you wanted to add a new mod in the future. I take all feedback, good or bad :)
