A Hunting armor set

Just what the topic says. Would be cool if we had a set geared for hunting, either changing bonuses on the Ranger set, (not sure what being a ranger has to do with getting better prices at a trader), or designing a new set for hunting. Maybe include bonuses for larger harvesting turnout, extended tracking range, etc.

Would also like to see improvement to the Farmer set, with the inclusion of a reduction in crops needed to craft seeds. (maybe have it be an overall bonus regardless of tier, reducing it to 3 crops per seed, similar to how the Assassin boots have the same effect regardless of tier).

 
I think the ranger set should have been a hunting set of armor it makes sense

But I'd prefer something more like Trader Hughes armor


See, that was my thinking. The Ranger set having a bartering bonus was kinda weird, it should be a hunting set.

I was also thinking tonight, a medic set would be cool. One that looks like an armoured version of Trader Jen for female characters. Then it got me thinking. The hunting set could look like Hugh's outfit, like you suggested.

If I think of a Ranger as a local wilderness expert, I could see them as getting a bartering bonus. They know the Trader and likely supply certain things only found in the wilderness. A hunting bonus, perhaps a "skinning" bonus would make sense too, or more broadly a "harvesting" for certain natural things such as honey.

That makes some sense, I guess. Still, would like to see some sort of hunting bonus on the hat instead, like some sort of tracking distance bonus, or animal corpse marking? and change the chest to the revolver/rifle reload speed, and the full set bonus to maybe gain 5/10/20/30/40/50% more resources when harvesting animals.

 
And where to put the resources from hunting? 3 stacks of meat can be sold once every 3 days, the same goes for leather. And where to put the rest? There are already 3 stacks of glue from the bones, I throw away the rotten meat.

Hunting already gives a lot of resources, there is no point in increasing their amount.

If you cook the meat into various recipes can you sell those too?

I have 9 stacks of meat stew in my box, and 7 stacks of meat in another box. I won't eat that much.

If at the beginning of the game there isn't much meat, then by the time you level up your cook skill, you'll have a lot of it, since the consumption per dish drops quite significantly.
