7DTD not launching MacPro

I can’t launch 7 days to die. I am running a macpro. I have tried a re- install of both steam and 7DTD. Looking to sort this out

No. The icon appears in the doc at the bottom of the mac then disappears. I was running the game two days after the update. I have dual monitors and I went to minimize the game window and move to the second monitor and the app quit. Ever since then I can’t get 7DTD to run. I trashed all the files and reinstalled it still crashes

Have you tried running the game with Rosetta? It is a known workaround since the launch of A20.

I heard about Rosetta. I was hoping to solve this without a workaround. Workarounds are band aids

You will need to wait until TFP fixes it then....they are fully aware of the Mac issue and it is their suggestion to use Rosetta until it can be fixed.

To clarify, Rosetta is only for the M1 macs. The Intel based macs don't need it. If it's not running on your Intel mac, then somthing else is wrong.
