Can anyone help me my friends and I have been play for a couple days and now the loading screen is stuck on initializing world and I have no idea how to fix

I hope it gets fixed soon. I don't want to get locked out again, so I'm having to keep my current game paused instead of saving and exiting. I'm not the only gamer in the house, though, so I can't keep it pulled up forever!
