3.0 Sandbox Options to add

I've been playing this game since A15 and modded since A16.

I usually run between 150-300 seperate mods per run. I'm loving the Sandbox options! Here below are some options to consider adding in the future for TFP and some RWG options to add as well!

Thank you!

One Block Crouch

Remove Nerd Poling

Darker Immersive Nights/Realistic Lighting

Stack Size Multipler

Backpack Sizes

Learn by Doing

Better or Worse Quest Rewards

Ability to take Multiple Quests at Once

Zombie ability to climb ladders

Zombie Jump height levels

More options for feral sense (distance or percentage of zombies who have feral sense)

Zombie health bar customization

Spreadable Fire Option

Improved sound effects/weapons, footsteps, zombies

Pay to use Izayo's Weapon pack ;)

Food spoilage

More Waypoint Options

Crosshair when using bow, not guns.

Increase FOV Past 90 (120max)

Other RWG options:

Better Biomes (more trees, bushes immersive like MP's mod)

Less Trees/Less Grass Option (opposite of better Biomes)

More map options, islands, supercities, mountain cities etc.

Randomize Traders

Prevent Same POI Spawning in World

Spawn rules could be alot more granular too. I used to mod XMLs to where Daytime had no respawns but night time and in town / cities would have a ton of zombies.

So to add to your list

Per Biome Spawn Rates
Time of Day Spawn Rates
City / Wilderness / Town Spawn Rates
POI Spawn Rates.

What is your setup that you need to go to 120?
I'm just saying the option for it, I usually play at 103 personally from other FPS games.

Yes, I like that option as well.
I remember seeing mods for this, I love this idea.

What it really needs is a slider to adjust the size of wandering hordes and screamer hordes. And the option to have every zombie type up to Elite in wnadering hordes.

Dude, I was just about to add this to my list. Lol

This was in my paste clipboard "

Wandering and screamer Horde size and frequency"

Yes!

One Block Crouch
??? Wouldn't that be a chair? Even a love seat would be 2 blocks, though there are people who would still consider a love seat a couch. But I wouldn't call something that's only 1 block a couch. If you're talking about couches being modular so you can build them with 1 block pieces, that's already in the game, though I can't remember if it's available from the crafting menu or only the creative menu. I rarely craft furniture like that... at least, not vanilla furniture.

Some others comments--
  • Backpack size was something TFP commented on that sounds like they plan to add, but didn't have time for 3.0.
  • They are going to do something related to LBD, but have stated it will not be more than some hybrid. You won't have the same LBD as in the past.
  • What are you thinking regarding the zombie health bar customization? On or off seems like enough to me. What else would you want to customize? I don't think they'd add color options or stuff like that. You'd have to use mods for that kind of thing, I think.
  • Spreadable fire is unlikely. Fire is a performance problem. When contained to limited amounts, it's manageable. But try having spreading fire on console and it wouldn't likely work out very well. Even many lower end PCs aren't likely to do well with it. I know you're suggesting it as an option, but they tend not to do options that aren't going to work on all supported systems. They don't want different games for PC versus console, to the best of their ability. Certain things are different, but they try to keep those a few as possible. But this is just my feeling and I could be wrong and they might add that someday.
  • Doubtful that they'd use Izayo's mod. I use that myself, but if they added other weapons, it's far more likely that they'd make their own.
  • Do you just want more waypoints on a map? Or some kind of configuration for them? If configuration, what kind are you talking about? If just more (or less), that would be something they could add, though it's extremely easy to change that on any map as long as the map isn't hosted on a console. Just edit the spawnpoints.xml file in your map's folder and add/remove/change the ones that are there. All you need are coordinates where you want to spawn, which is easiest to figure out by using some kind of map viewer (Teragon can do that, though there are other options that are just viewers without the additional map making abilities that Teragon offers).
  • Preventing the duplicate POI is tricky unless you don't mind a lot of noticeable empty spaces in towns. Tiles are designed to have POI on them and a missing POI on a tile can be very noticeable. If you limit all POI to only 1 each, you're going to have a lot of empty spots in your towns unless you're on a very small map (under 4k). 4k or larger would have those empty spots, especially as your map sizes increase. I believe the game already tries to put different POI on the map before putting duplicates on the map. So if you look at your map and notice duplicates, every one of those would end up empty. They could offer that, but that isn't likely to be something most people would want to see. If you just want more different POI, you're better off making a map with custom POI on it, such as with Compopack or PEP or other, smaller, POI packs. The more POI you have available, the fewer duplicates you'll have.
Good ideas, though.

Just a quick FYI so that they don't actually do this and give everyone major migraines... Unity's camera adjusts based on vertical field of view, not horizontal like Unreal. 75 in Unity is roughly equal to around 110 in Unreal.

My 2 cents regarding the topic:

I'd like to see a player max level setting. It would add a nice layer to the ability to adjust skill points per level, XP scaling, and stat scaling (for example, you could configure a playthrough to have real slow XP, max player level 50 to drop 50 off the usual resource maximums, and 6SP per level to get the same total as you'd have at 300).
