PC 2 Xboxes 1 ip address question

I was wondering if 2 Xboxes on the same IP address could play online multiplayer together and with other people online together? Thank you in advance for any information on this subject.

If you mean local LAN, yes.

Two machines cannot share the same IP address, so I'm assuming you mean the same internet-facing IP.

Yeah it works, I had a friend come visit from Texas for a week and they used one of my ps4 while I used my other one. We both jumped into the same game with other people. So it works and would see nothing to why it wouldn't be the same for xbox.
