A rain water collection system. Because all of those empty jars need a better purpose and I'm sick of searching toilets.

and last but not least.

A chicken coop!! Because bacon and eggs!

We can feed the chickens super corn to produce double yolkrs!! 😁

How do you refill them?

I am also curious what you are doing with your empty jars. Aren't you refilling them?
I'm stacking them in a box waiting for a use for them, I didn't know you can refill them. How?

Put them in a toolbelt slot, activate that slot, right-click on a water source (lake, river, ditch).

You can also use snow that you dug up and make murky water in your campfire.

You can then use that for duct tape or just boil it for fresh water.

I think you can use empty jars with yucca fruit to make yucca juice in campfire also.

*Mental images of one man one jar intensifies*

But seriously, a rain collector would be nice. It's a bit of a trek to the nearest water source by my base and every time I fill a stack of jars the water block disappears so I will have to go farther at some point. A rain collector seems very fitting for a survival game and would make sustainable living a bit easier.

The coding is there to make your player wet when it rains. So maybe make a rain collector to generate a block of water at 100% saturation or something. That would be cool.

There's a way to make an infinite water source at your base. It does require a 4x4 space though. 2x2 for the water with an outer rim block. Create a square with a 2x2 open space in the middle. Upgrade to concrete. If you upgrade blocks after filling with water the water tends to "flow" out. IDK why, IDK how, but it makes a watery mess. I find it best to have at least one side taller to act as a back wall of sort. This "back wall" will be where you aim to deposit water. Craft a water bucket and fill from water source. Empty bucket into your new water well. Grab empty jars and fill them from your new water well. You will have a small water "block" left in well. Scoop that up with your empty bucket then pour back into well. You now have a full 4 block infinite water well. I use half blocks (2 per side) with small(er) corner log blocks (in the empty outside corners) for creativity. Paint as you please.

I have tried doing a depth well (going down), a canal well (straight line), & different sizes of each type with comical and frustrating outcomes. picture water all over floor, even to the point of going over side and down to ground level. I got completely flooded and the well area eventually collapsed along with all farm plots in that general area. So the 2x2 flat well works best. If you find a different design that works please let me know. I'd love to hear about it. Thanks!

The jars are refillable in multiple ways, you can use them with snowballs collected in snow biomes to get murky water, plus numerous other recipes.  Additionally for some reason many recipes cause the jars to just simply vanish, like the various stews
