2-player Multiplayer (self-hosted game) all trees disappeared from my world (host)

Hi all,

All trees disappeared from my world (I was hosting the game), except the trees that I planted. The other player still sees the trees and can interact with them (e.g. cut them down and get wood).

We are running the latest version, no mods at all (clean install from a few days ago).

At the start of our game today I had a few crashes/freezes (see attached logs).

I tried restarting the game (singleplayer) but the trees are still all missing.

Last time we stopped playing:

Trying to boot various crashes/freezes/unable to join

Timestamp 21-12-04 https://pastebin.com/3YnM6BUZ

After the Horde attack I noticed the world looked empty (no trees):

A reboot shows that the trees are still missing:

What can I do to fix this? I would like to continue with this save of course!

So the issue is not fixed
If others can see the trees and you cannot, maybe your profile is corrupted.

You could test this by removing your 3 files from the players folder in the save. (back them up somewhere)

Then log on and see if you can see the trees. If so, then it is your profile.

You could fix it by logging in on your old profile and put all your armor and inventory in a chest.

Then delete that profile and log in with your new profile. Get your stuff and get your level back

with the giveselfxp command. Books you've learned you'd have to get from the creative menu

to re-learn them.

That is too much work for me compared to what it brings. We will create a new game in that case.
