2.3 b9 update created water everywhere

Playing on pc.
2.3 b9 came out today and game updated. Server hosted on nitrado.

Now everywhere new we explore gets filled in with water. It just appears and floods any area, even up hill. The water can't be seen at a far distance, but renders in as we move. Even when walking into a new trader water just appeared and destroyed half of his complex and entire front gate. You can actually see in the map image all the water in his complex.
Afraid to explore knowing water will appear and destroy everything.
No mods installed. 100s of hours played on this map on this server.

Are you sure that Nitrado are already on 2.3 Stable? Better check with them.

Ya. You can see in the log at startup it's correct version. "2025-09-09T18:25:19 0.000 INF Version: V 2.3 (b9) Compatibility Version: V 2.3, Build: WindowsPlayer 64 Bit"

All of those files are either modified or corrupted. Which is what leads to your issue.

You will need to validate the client files a few times, and not use mods.

In order to "fix" those areas, you may need to utilize the reset region command.

This is not a bug.
