13+ years and you don't have a console command for completing quests?

i am in the middle of a modded overhale mod, the wasteland mod, and something broke. i don't know what broke, but something did. something failed to spawn. If this was the first time i would not complain, if this was JUST a mod issue, i would not complain, but REPEDITLY, in vanilla AND modded pois entities fail to spawn. i have done nothing wrong. But NOPE tier 6 pois will have entities refuse to spawn. That's how the game works i have come to terms with that.

now, in a bethesda game there are console commands to fix this, but NOT 7 days. so can we get either a console command that auto completes a quest or at least fix the stupid spawning system?

There are dev items in the creative menu that let you complete a quest of a given tier. The actual quest will still be failed, but you'll get the rewards.

However, if you are having problems with quests, you should report the exact quest/POI in a bug report with a log and if you see the yellow or red dots on your compass showing the last spawns but can't get them to spawn, you should go to the location where they are only a few meters from you and then take a screenshot and include that. Doing that allows people to test it and see if there is a problem.

Some things to keep in mind:

• Some POI require you to press certain buttons or use certain key racks or open certain doors to trigger a spawn. If you don't do that and create your own path, you can miss triggering a spawn.
• There is a bug right now where certain buttons randomly won't work. If you know (or think) that a button should work but it doesn't do anything when you click on it, try breaking it. If it's supposed to do something, breaking it will work the same as pushing the button, so it's a temporary way to deal with that bug until they fix the bug.
• Some POI require killing animals that don't attack you, like boars or chickens. If you don't kill them, you won't finish the quest. Be sure you're killing animals you find in POI when doing quests in case they are necessary to complete the quest.

In the end, I've played this game a lot and have been in all the different POI. There have been times in the past when there was a bug that prevented finishing certain quests, and we have the button bug that randomly occurs now, but other than that, the quests can be completed in every POI. That's why it's important to post if there is a problem so they can see if it's a bug or if you just missed something in the POI that was necessary to trigger the zombies.
